Looks great for me and definitly worth to buy.
But it will cost 10.000 Yen if I read the message correct on the official site.

Some news, after a long time of inactivity:

The official site came finally up with the DVD shots for Episode 2 of S.ifr.
Here are some pics:

From the pics I'm a bit disappointed. It looks like a typical filler episode with other characters interacting instead of the main ones. Although this can be funny and also dramatic I was hoping to see more of Rena and S.ifr

But let's wait. It's not so long counting the days from now on.

Ich bin Antje, komme aus dem schoenen Berlin und bin 26 Jahre alt.
Minitokyo ist zwar nicht unbedingt meine Lieblingsseite, aber ich bin doch fast jeden Tag hier.
Normalerweise haenge ich den ganzen Tag auf Animepaper.net rum, wo ich auch als Forum Moderator und Administrator der dortigen German Members Group taetig bin (allerdings unter dem Namen angel-voice).

Finde es schoen, dass sich die Gruppe wieder so entwickelt hat und das Layout ist auch klasse.
Na ja, wer Fragen hat, einfach fragen ^^

The pics you uploaded are awesome but I won't buy the artbook just because of some of them. I have mainly all the pics in my other artbooks and got some really nice scans from AP.
Anyway, thanks for sharing them.

The official site has come up with the cover of the first DVD and some minor pics.

There will also be a new CD for Mai HiME Destiny. I'm not sure if this is a Drama CD or not.

And it seems that were will be also a new type of Artbook

Like UltraMarine has written some time ago it will be only released on DVD.
It will contain 3 episodes and start at 22th of February 2008.

OMG, CM's Homepage has been updated with awesome pics of the upcoming new Gashapon Series Mai Otome Part 2. These figures are awesome. I love all of them but the one of Nao the most ^___^

Question to UltraMarine:

Did you get your Mai HiME / Mai Otome Artbook from Hobby Link Japan?
I've seen pics with just some minor character descriptions but no really good scans.
Is it worth buying?

That's definitly the style of Cyber Formula GPX.
The hole figure (is it really one figure?) is inspired by the cover of the Mai HiME Artbook of Hirokazu Hisayuki.

I think it's worth buying it (may it be a single figure or three of them).

Each of them (it's really so that each figure must be buyed to get the hole bunch) will be released in December and cost around 40 $ (man, this is really hard)

Yahoo Japan auction is another place to look for rare figures. I may had seen the Nao one there before. You don't have to understand Japanese or live in Japan to bid stuff from there if you use a third party auction agent such as Japamart to help you. However, the fees are high depending on where you live if you bid via an agent. I got a LE Natsuki Kruger figure that way and ended up paying double the winning bid. She was worth it to me, so I didn't regret it. It was cheaper than flying to Japan to buy it .

I don't really like the ones of Arika and Akane but I really like that one showing Shizuru in her Meister-Robe which you posted some time ago.

Also big thanks for the preview of DVD Vol. 4.
Nina looks a bit weird like a mix of her old Robe and Arika's. Seems we need to wait until August to find out.

Also there are preview images for Mai Otome Zwei 04. Check out the bird like figure in the ad below. Looks suspiciously like some familiar Child from Mai Hime or maybe an advanced form of the evil-like Fumi creature. Its hard to see the pic clearly.

Hmm, looks like Kagutsuchi. Would be nice to see it in Mai Otome Zwei. Maybe the last volume will be more interesting then the others. But let's wait and see ^.^

Well, the official site came up with the date for OVA Vol. 4
It will be airing on 24th of August 2007.
The DVD will have a special CD and will also be released on the same date. Unfortunalty there is no cover art published till now.

Looks not bad but I'm really disappointed of this OVA.
I thought it would be more action like in the series because I really missed the dramatic fighting scenes from HiME.

I think the show is moving in a way I don't like. To much fanservice to less story.
Maybe the last episode will have more action but I'm really thinking of quitting this show.

How do you like the OVAS?
